Landscapes

Lori's Landscape series explores the feeling of being in a particular place. Each piece begins with time spent on site—walking, observing, and photographing the landscape from different viewpoints and at different times of day. Back in the studio, Lori builds the composition from these references, then lets intuition guide the final painting—prioritizing mood over literal detail. Through color, light, and spatial relationships, the work invites viewers to connect with the emotional atmosphere of the place.
